Keeping strong books is critical for building a strong business. Fiscal responsibility is an essential aspect of mature project management as well. Good finances enable leaders to confidently make decisions because they forecast results before any action is taken. A clear financial POV also provides important indicators of potential trouble spots.

I didn’t become truly educated on fiscal matters until I turned 30 and after I’d earned my first million dollars in total business revenue. Facing a volatile marketplace and feeling the pressure of of providing for my family and the families of my employees, I found a deep appreciation for finance with the help of a thrify business manager on my payroll. I credit my financial skills for helping my business survive fantastic turmoil and even thrive in the face of a national recession and increased competition. Eventually I modified my business skills and tools to help manage personal finances so my wife and I can build wealth and plan for the success of reaching our life goals.
